Susan Ciufo

Susan Ciufo has dabbled in multiple art forms for many years. After crafting many fine pieces on canvas, paper & with fabric, she has turned her focus back to fine art painting. Working as a successful landscape designer for the past 15 years, has only reinforced Susan’s pull to the outdoors. She loves the endless combinations of color, texture & pattern provided by Mother Nature. Susan hopes to give the viewer a sense of place & emotion, while capturing the mood of the setting. 
Largely self-taught, she has taken classes at CSUN, Pierce College & California Arts Academy. She also studied for 2 years under the tutelage of colorist Carolyn Counnas  & has taken workshops with Erin Hanson, Leslie Saeta, Larisa Aukon & Mitchell Albala. Susan is a member of the Nevada County Arts Counsel.
